Jessner's Chemical Peel
1 hour/$210

HOW IT WORKS

The Jessner peel works by removing the top layers of skin to reveal smoother, more even-toned skin beneath. How deep the peel penetrates depends on how many layers are applied.

The Jessner peel is typically a medium peel, which means it removes skin cells from the top layer of your skin, the epidermis, and the upper portion of the middle layer, the dermis. However, it can also be used as a superficial peel, which has a faster healing time but needs to be performed more often to get the results of a deeper peel.

Regardless of the depth, the peel is made up of a mix of lactic acid, salicylic acid, and resorcinol.

The Jessner peel can be an individual peel, a series or as part of a skincare plan along with other services (often Micro-needling).

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

The Jessner Peel is applied in layers. Each layer will offer a different sensation. Expect to feel warmth, tingling, tight and possibly a burning sensation as the layers are applied

HOW FREQUENTLY DO I NEED TREATMENTS?

This depends on what we are treating. This will need to be discussed with your skincare specialist. They will be able to give you a realistic timeline for success!

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER EACH TREATMENT?

You will experience warmth for 20-40 minutes after your chemical peel, although everyone has different sensitivities. Your face may be light pink to medium red for the rest of your treatment day. Your skin will become tight feeling and looking before it starts to peel anywhere from day 3-5. Your peeling will last anywhere from 7-14 days.
